Jaipur which means the city of victory was built exactly 273 years back and is 262 km by road from Delhi ( Capital of India ).Jaipur was planned by Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, a Bengali architect, in a grid system with wide straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes and uniform rows of shops on either side of the main bazaars, all arranged in nine rectangular city sectors (chokris). The city itself is an attractive creation worthy of universal admiration.
 
There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur’s colorful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets. Founded in 1488, the city of Bikaner forms the third important destination in the desert triangle. It is Rajasthan s fourth largest city, situated in the Desert. The imposing Junagarh fort and many palaces within it, contribute to its timeless beauty. It houses red sandstone and marble palaces like Anup Mahal, Ganga Niwas and Rang Mahal; a royal temple called Har Mandir, and a museum.
 
Sheer beauty in the desert is the royal fortified city of Bikaner. Lying at the northern tip of the famous triangle of the desert cities, Bikaner is a beautiful medieval town.

Bikaner’s Forts, Palaces and Temples - magnificent creations in red and yellow sandstone, are living manifestations of its rich historical and architectural legacy. One can feel the medieval aura pervading the city’s lifestyle. Not only do the traditions come alive here in colourful bazaars and havelis, but Bikaner is also famous for the best riding camels in the world. One can witness gaily caparisoned camels at the spectacular Camel Festival at Bikaner, held annually.
 
Jaisalmer “the golden city” which lies courageously as the western sentinel of India, is a place worth visiting in India. Once a sleepy desert city, Jaisalmer has transformed itself into a major tourist destination of India. Jaisalmer is situated in the westernmost part of the state of Rajasthan, the heart of the great Thar Desert.
 
The Jaisalmer city commands premiere position among the tourist attractions scattered all over the desert land of Rajasthan. The Jaisalmer city is revered both by Indians as well as foreign tourists. The Jaisalmer city is also known for its old mansions, better known as Havelis. Among many of them you will find Salim ji ki haveli and Nathmal ji ki haveli as the most striking. There are other monuments too, which are equally important because of their distinct and individual architecture.
 
“ Jodhpur , The Sun City“ Famous for its magnificent forts and palaces. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan and a major tourist attraction in the country. The city is located at the edge of the Thar Desert with Jaisalmer on its west, Barmar, Jalor and Pali on its south, Bikaner on its north, and Nagaur on the eastern side.

Devi Garh, the luxury resort in Udaipur. Nestled in the Aravali hills of Rajasthan, the 18th century Devi Garh Fort Palace, in the village of Delwara . The actual construction of the fort palace started only in the 1760s, under Raghudev Singh II, with further additions being made to the structure by the rulers who followed.
